By accessing or using Chronote (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Chronote is a productivity and workspace application that provides note-taking, document editing, task management, calendar integration, canvas tools, and AI-powered features. The Service is available via the web and may be updated from time to time.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Chronote. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Chronote. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not sell or share your content with third parties except as required to operate the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or entity

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Chronote offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. AI Features

AI-powered features are provided “as is” and may produce inaccurate or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chronote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data before termination takes effect.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
